Thankful for what I've got, the people around me, the psychic friends I love, and the life that I'm able to live.
It not always easy, I don't understand it most of the time, but I'm trying to focus on the good & the positive.

Cat-ch You Later!

I've drawn dogs, why haven't I drawn cats?

Well, if a student asks, obviously they're interested.

So, I Google some 'famous cats' and get to work.

I have a few stidents help with filling in some shapes, giving little coloring lessons, and lessons on flow, pattern, and shape.

Featuring such felines as Garfield, Hobbes, Sylvester, Grumpy Cat, Tigger, Cat in the Hat, Nyan Cat, Cheshire cat, Tom, & Pete the cat.

Just Keep Swimming, in the Enchanted Pineapple Under the Sea

This doodle started out as an angler fish, then Nemo was added. I even let a student doodle alongside me, as they had picked up a drawing book from the library, and we're eager to practice.  After not feeling the best, I decided to carry this doodle over the weekend so I could finish it Monday.

During my time away from the board, a school of ideas swam my way, and I came back to the board on Monday with a fury! Adding to the drawing through the end of Tuesday. By then the board was full, and I felt good about moving forward.

So from here on out, I'm spending multiple days a week on one subject.

I'll TREAT you right!

I really enjoyed the collaboration with this doodle!

A female student said she wanted a puppy themed drawing. I told her to figure out a slogan, and let me know.

Seconds later, she came back with "I'll TREAT you right."

My loud laughter apparently startled two other students. As they came over to see what could possibly be so funny, they contributed drawings of what they'd like to see.

It also was a great challenge for me, since I am NOT AT ALL well versed in drawing animals. So I went back to my elementary school roots, pulled up step by step instructions on how to draw puppies/dogs, and re-learned how to draw again.

You can see the subtle changes, and smeared ink marks on the board from the mini adjustments made between each step.
